I should add, as interest, that part of the Temple of Vesta was shown in the photo of S. Maria in Cosmedin too.

This is Rivingen Lighthouse, Grimstad, Norway.
There are now several lighthouses in Norway, where you can rent a room and spend a couple of days.
That would be a good vacation for someone who like towers and spires, wouldn´t it?

There are quite a lot of (former) lighthouses where you can stay in/live - it was mentioned a few times on the lighthouse thread.

This is a b & b in Boppard (Rhine valley)

You can live in this church (St. Lamberti) tower in Münster/Westphalia, too.

Get an excellent view ...

... but you have to work at night (And the job is already taken)

I'dlike to stay in this b & b (Roter Sand lighthouse) again ...

... but it's currently not possible (restauration works).

The lighthouse in Harlingen (Netherlands) is situated on land and not in the North Sea, like Roter Sand. And offers only one room .... but very nice!
