@vonny,
Great to see that.
I worked a long time ago with a burmese english m.d. By now I don't remember where he was born, if I ever knew.
He was much saner than the boss. We both left the place, me refusing to be manager given the circumstances and changing careers re new interest, and him, to set up his own practice. No, not a romance, just two of the sane ones in the place.

Ziggurats are interesting structures that were built in the third millennium in the various city states in Mesopotamia. These ziggurats consisted of a truncated pyramid with a smaller truncated pyramid on top of that and another smaller one on top of that etc, culminating with a temple on top, the union point of the goddess and the god.

This was a time of balance between the patriarchal and the matriarchal, that is men and women. The matriarchy representing the Earth the physical goddess, and the patriarchy representing the sky, the mind or thought, ie., the god. A priestess represented the goddess, the Earth and a priest represented the god, the sky. The union of the goddess and the god was represented by the ritual of sexual union between the priestess and the priest inside the shrine.

World's longest pedestrian suspension bridge opens in Germany's Harz region
Quote:
Visitors to Germany's Harz Mountains will now be able to walk along the world's biggest pedestrian suspension bridge. The record-breaking structure stretches more than 450 meters across the Rappbode Dam.

The bridge, dubbed the "Titan-RT," was officially opened to the public at a ceremony near the central German town of Oberharz am Brocken on Sunday.
With a suspended length of 458 meters (1,502 feet), it overtakes the 439-meter SkyPark bridge in Sochi, Russia, as the longest pedestrian suspension bridge in the world.
The imposing structure stretches some 100 meters above the waters of Germany's highest reservoir, the Rappbode Dam, and is built to undulate with shifts in weight and movement.
