I am half Norwegian, my dad immigrated to the US at Ellis Island around 1920.
The Norwegian side of my family is buried in the front yard of the Dypvaag Church and my family is traced back to 1200 AD through church records.

I was in the choir too, which was unfortunate as I can't carry a tune, and once I sang a funeral mass by myself.. I guess in retrospect the organist got louder.
