Skottorp Castle, Skottorp southern Sweden.
Here is castle without ziggurats,towers or spires.
You have shown so manz wonderful castles and I kind of notice that in Sweden we seem to have less of towers on castles than in Ireland or GB.
Either the castles have been build later or there was less of a need for a fortress from the beginning.

Northumberland had a lot of castles because we were situated between warring Scotland and England!

The huge tower , has been built as the city Belfast prepares for an annual Protestant loyalist celebration. Fires will be set alight at midnight tonight as Protestant loyalists commemorate the Battle of the Boyne.
