I have a friend who has a Portuguese background. He comes out with exclaimations and words from his childhood that even he doesn't know how to spell. Sometimes he doesn't exactly know what they mean. I know there are people here who know some Portuguese. Can ya help a curious mind with spelling and meaning? The words are:

Curza (thing?)
Ay corione (like holy sh!t!)
and quakish (underwear)

Thanks!

Portuguese from Portugal is significantly different from Brazilian Portuguese but I can help with at least one that you haven't yet had answered:

queca "kuweka" = underwear

hmmm.... his mother was portuguese, his friends are of euro descent as well, I think. Thing is, this friend has a boston accent, so it's hard to tell where the boston leaves off and the portuguese picks up.
