I have a cold, or some thing. Ya know, the whole "stuffed nose, sore throughout, sinus headache" ect.
Can i make my pets sick? I have a cat, and a small dog, (maltese-poodle mix).
Thanks
There are some illnesses that are transferable, but I don't think the common cold is.

My wife and I both have colds right now, but the dog is just fine.

Seems there are a few each way around
I have found it is possible to make any pet sick. You just need a little creativity. For example, if you want to get your dog sick, feed them lots of chocolate. It also works with newborns, but my wife can always tell if I've been experimenting by feeding my daughter new foods, by looking at her diapers the next day, and I usually get in a lot of trouble. I recomend giving your cat a pixie stick if you want her to get sick. You should see how newborns react to pixie sticks. They don't know to swallow it, so they just keep breathing it in and go into a sneezing frenzy. 'll scare the heck out of a new parent. Just ask if you want to know more.
hm... I dont think my cat would eat from a pixi stick, but my dog just may be dumb enough to
