plantinum blonde to dark ombre

i have bleached blonde hair with micro loop extensions. i want to do something like this http://0.tqn.com/d/womenshair/1/0/O/B/-/-/AshleeSimpson.JasonKempin.jpg do i need to buy new extensions or should i just dye the ones i have? also tips on ombreing m y hair? how many colors do i need?

Just putting the image out there for others. That's a nice look. What's your original color? You might do best to keep the root color as close to your real color as possible; that way you don't need to do so many touch-ups.

ok - so your natural colour is darkish and it's currently bleached blonde? and you've got micro-loop extensions? what colour are the extensions?

A good colour tech could do it with three colours, but would also probably suggest you reconsider. Ombre was big about 2 - 3 years ago and not particularly fashion-forward now.

Look at some of the Brit/German/French/Italian fashion mags if you want something really modern-looking.
