This thread I will be posting pictures with no captions to see if we can guess where it is from. It think this could be both fun and illuminating. In most cases I will not know myself where the place in the photo is either. Pleas add your own thoughts and opinions.

Those are all wonderful photos. You might be able to find the originals by checking out what the url starts with and seeing if you can find the photo there, with the place identified by the photographer.
I'd guess the ruined castle one to be in Scotland.

I plan to generally post photos here that the poster admittedly does not know where they are from. Often they will re-post something on FB and say they do not know where it is. Thus the URL is not linked to the original poster. Rather than me post it in another thread and be asked where it is I will post them here.

i think the castle photo is a photo shop of some kind, i'm not sure the castle part is real
