My iphone 4 from sprint is not being recongized is it he battery?

have u got current itunes installed and does your usb lead work when u charge the device?

Do you mean that your iPhone is from sprint but not recognized? Are you referring to try inserting a different SIM card and it was not recognized? Maybe the iPhone is locked, you can have it unlocked first if that is your problem so you can insert any SIM card you wish.
