public hair 31 up, 10 down
If you have so much pubic hair and you don't shave it , it's for everyone to see from under your bikini when you are going to swim.

Jeez! Girl's got some hair!

Hair that is visible for all to see. Ie, hair on the top of your head. Only one letter from pubic hair, but still the complete oppocite.[sic]

- Mary has some really nice pubic hair.
- Dude, you haven't seen her naked!
- Oh. I meant public hair.

@tsarstepan,
Well, I lost my hair publicly quite a few year after the actual loss started - it was just a matter of combing.

For me, the change meant a lot: since then, it only lasts three minutes at the barber's now, twice or three times per year and costs a lot less each visit.

Why did you write that? By the way, have you noticed you wrote p u b l i c and not p u b i c before? Twice.

@contrex,
1) Because some of the replies were directed to a woman and I am a man with the subject condition. I went to a number of website and consulted a Family Medical Encyclopedia and could not find the matter addressed.

2) Once in the title and once in the body of the question. Mea culpa.

@gollum,
Regardless, we're not doctors. Seek out a dermatologist or hair doctor or what haveyou. You need professional help.

@gollum,
There actually are a variety of reasons and it varies, whether it's scalp, under-arms or pubic hair loss.

Two main ones are medications or hormone imbalances.

If you are on medication go back and see your Doctor and let him/her know what's happening, if not, go and see your Doctor and get your hormone levels checked and have a blood test to establish what specifically is "your" reason for the loss.

@Mame,
I've never heard of a hair doctor, but if the navy is going to have naval doctors, I guess there's a specialty for everything.
