Well, I was playing around, and adding stuff to the Portal. There is a category "one hit wonders", which honors those minstrels who have had one song, and one song only that will stand the test of time.
Anyhow, all of a sudden, I remembered, out of the mists of time, one of the most glorious melodies of the genre. It was "The Mouse", a fantastic song sung by the inimitable Soupy Sales. I then realized, much to my chagrin, that I did not remember all the words. I searched, and searched. I found the album, but not the words.
I can remember snippets of the song:

White Fang and Blac Tooth were our favorite noises in grade school. Youd go up to somebody and just grab their head and yell le'OOW ble"OOW. something like that.

I remember lunch with Soupy, White fang, Black Tooth, and the Soupy Shuffle....and lots of pies in the face. I can't seem to remember that song though...I guess I would have to hear it to jog my memory.

I think I heard on Howards show that Soupy is now afflicted with Alzheimers.
Not unless he aquired this disease since last fall when I saw him in Boston. Still funny, ....and quite irrevrant
