using soap scraps

For some time I have been saving the scraps of soap that are leftover when the bar is almost used up. My family members would just throw them out, but I thought they must be able to be used for something, rather than just more stuff thrown on the rubbish tip.

@lesley1002,
I never though about throwing them away. When the old bar gets too thin to work with, start a new bar. At the end of the shower, and with both old and new still wet, just press the pieces together. When it dries, old and new will be permanently bonded into one new and thicker bar.

@lesley1002,
Fill up a white cotton sock with the soap scraps and then tie a knot in the end. You'll have a self-sudsing scrubber to use in the shower.
