If the mean and median of a data set are different, one explanation might be?
1- The data are symmetric around the mean
2-Outliers have been excluded from the data
3- the mean exceeds the standard deviation by a factor of more than or equal to
0.95
4-The data are skewed toward higher or lower numbers
5-you would need more information about the data to answer this question
