What kind of music do you listen to?

jazz, if I can find it, and Classical (as opposed to Romantic) I also love bluegrass and "Gangstagrass".
Every so often I like to listen to some Count Basie or Gene Krupa. (I can listen to maybe one big band thing a day)

I like Sprinsteen and Hank "Jr" (I hate his politics though)

I like anything violin virtuistic and E Power Biggs s Ellington said, "Theres only 2 kinds of music, good and bad''

I keep a Bose CD system in my studio and a big cheap ghetto box in my workshop. Its funny, when Im painting, I like music and when Im working in the shop, Its gotta be talk radio or an "Audio Book"

Seems farmerman and I are pretty close in our tastes. On the radio, I listen to NPR stations exclusively and, thank goodness, they don't play gangstarap or any other kind of musical aberration. As for popular rock, I pretty well stopped listening to it when the Beatles disbanded.

Any particular recommendations, fm?

Punch Brothers is one of my absolute favorite bands of all time. I think they go under the elusive subgenre of alt-bluegrass or something on those lines.
