According to the article some of those fossils are 200,000 years old. That's quite some time before humans first appeared in Australia which is generally estimated to be between 40,000 and 60,000 ya. Wikipedia states that Diprotodon went extinct around 46,000 ya, right about the time that humans first arrived in Australia. Human predation is thought to be the cause of their extinction.

That is likely to be true.
Alligator and crocodile do; (I pause to reflect upon my sense of the situation,
that it was better that I ate THEM, instead of vice-versa [OK, call me ego-centric--go ahead]).
It appears to be the case that most animal protein,
including the white meat of chicken, tastes alike.

@OmSigDAVID,
Ive eaten alligator nd I dont think it tastes anything like chicken. Ive eaten it in restaurants nd once at a festival in Nigeria. They all tatsted like muddy lizard to me. The one in nigeria was especially tough and muddy. The ones Ive eaten in Fla restaurants qere more tender but still hd a "lizardy" taste
