Can anyone show me how to solve this problem:

6x - 7 = 2/x + 4

Put all the x's on one side and all the digits on the other.

I understand, but I can´t do it:

6x - 7 = 2/x + 4
6x=2/x + 11
6x-2/x = 11

I don´t know how join this 6x with -2/x, the nearest thing to the result that I could work out was:

6x - 2x^-1 <--- But neither I can join it.

P.S.: Sorry for my grammar mistakes.

6x^2 - 11x = 2

and then ... ¿?
