Bob & Ray traded off, with one being the straight man in one sketch and the other performing that role in another. In the Komodo dragon sketch, Bob, the expert, is the straight man while Ray, the interviewer, is the funny guy. That is somewhat unusual for B&R, as the interviewer is almost always the straight man in their sketches.
