You got me Ted, it's rumpleforeskin. How'd you guess? (But you can call me rumple for short.)

Wow, I used to use that as the ultimate insult way back when. Penis wrinkle-stopped kids dead in their tracks every time.

I actually know someone named John Cox and someone with the last name of Hooker....Imagine how often they get made fun of.

Kickycan offered this...

I once looked up my real name and got a whole bunch of links for some gay porn star. It's not me, I swear!

I had a bunch of buddies over for a poker game a few years back. We were killing time waiting for all of the players to show up and I started typing in the various player's names into Google, just to see what would surface. Sure enough, one of them shared the same name as a gay porn star.

Your name isn't Ed Freeman, is it?

In typing in my real name, there were 328 results. Nothing on the first page was about me and of course I'm not going to go through them all to see if I turn up. When I put in Montana I got all kinds of stuff on the state of montana. My old user name (Gezzy) brought up a bunch of stuff since I looked that up a few years back.

I found a poem written to Letty on Google. I also found out that Frank Apisa is a minister. Smile

I realised this problem years ago, which is why I always write under psuedonyms. The whole thing reminds me of when I read about these girls: they were obsessive fans of some boyband, and found old posts of theirs on various websites before they were famous. They started harrasing said stars through their email address that they found. Imagine drunkenly telling someone your home address, and then some crazed stalker googles your name and finds it... scary stuff.

36,600 entries under my real name, only a couple of which were me.

About 8,900,000 entries under "Eva." (Surfing the 'net is fun, guys, but....) Mostly Eva Cassidy, Eva Peron, Eva Mendes, etc.

Apparently I am not unique. Embarrassed
