Get-well postcard arrives nearly 50 years late

KLAMATH FALLS, ORE. - The mother of a girl who died of a brain tumor nearly 50 years ago just received a well-meaning get-well postcard.

I've heard of this happening before. Quite often actually. But it's always interesting when it happens.

I remember a few years back when I was doing Shipping and Receiving I received a package from UPS that was mailed 20 years earlier. It was a box of light bulbs. They had fallen behind some area of their conveyor belt at the distribution center and found it when they did some remodeling.

It's always fun to find things from the past.

Do you remember when time capsules were big? I tried to bury one but my dog dug it up and chewed everything to shreds. Crying or Very sad
