Seriously? My point was that what the op wrote applies to everyone that lives in the U.S. White people, Black people, Asian people all commit crimes.

It is the media that makes it a race issue! Are people racist in the U.S.? Yes, because imo they believe what the media reports.

You're an idiot if you think people learn racism from the newspapers. They learn it at daddy's knee and mommy's knee, and grandpa, and grandma, aunt and uncle, the other adults in their neighborhood or hometown. It is a complete mystery to me whay anyone would suggest anything so silly as that "the media" create and perpetuate racism. Are you one of those people who blame "the media" for all the nation's ills?

Yes, and everyone lived in peace and harmony--black, white, yellow, red and brown--before the invention of the printing press. People spent all day following butterflies through the flower-filled meadows or playing with cute little kittens.

I wrote the media, which is tv and the papers. I grew up in a small town playing with kids black, white, asian, jndian etc. I had no idea about racism until I read the paper and turned on the tv. So if that means I am an idiot, so be it.

My parents never said a bad word about any race. I learned about racism because of the news paper and tv. That is the truth.

You may have learned about racism by reading the newspaper, but that is not evidence that newspapers are the cause of racism. You're shooting the messenger. You're like the rooster who thinks he makes the sun come up by crowing. You have no sense of cause and effect.
