NEWARK, N.J. - A teenage boy posing as a banker duped an Ohio car dealership into delivering a $123,000 BMW to him at his high school, police said Thursday.
Now who is dumber? The kid for trying this or the car dealership for delivering the car?
LOL. The kids was smart and stupid at the same time.
I'd say
No matter how much I planned I could never pull off a scam like that. I'd get caught just thinking about it.
Uh, Rove.. Kid ? Smart?? He committed wire fraud both by mail and phone (two felonies), then he turned around an committed an additional felony by selling the stolen goods, namely, the car.
Speaking of namely he used his own name. What was that? (It will be his lawyer's defense.... Your honor, my very contrite client here was and is just a naive youth who never thought that this would all happen and when the car arrived he was just caught up in the moment,,,,,,)
The dealer's error was in sending the goods prior to payment received, but you know what it's like dealing with these rich folks.......
I just think the kid was smart in being able to pull it off. In general, I think the kid in an idiot.
I think this is how Slappy Doo Hoo got his start.

I think that in a few years that kid is going to run for Congress!
Or become a company director!
The kid could be president some day.
