I feel so darn restless today and I haven't a clue as to why.

Does this ever happen to you?

Yep, it's been known to happen! Very Happy
But according to the time on your post it's only 05:39 were you are, Montana. Do you get restless early in the morning?

Are you kidding? Restless is my middle name. I was up at 4:45 AM this morning, and I had to get up and move around. Once I am up, there is no way that I can get back to bed.

It's actually almost 7:30am here now and I've been feeling this way since I woke up. I'm a night owl, so I've been up since 6pm last night. I hate this feeling. I'm chewing my fingers which is something I only do if I'm nervous. Damn, I just feel like I want to climb out of my own skin.

Wilso
Are you doing the bathroom by yourself? Good luch with that.

Montana- Is there anything special going on in your life that is causing this anxiety? Think about it. does it have to do with your ex?

Sometimes I don't realize when something is bothering me. I can tell only by my behavior, and my gut feelings. When I think about it, I can usually figure it out!

Actually, I do have a lot on my mind, but I always have a lot on my mind.

My ex has recently cut off my child support, which is something that has put me in an unpleasant position and the courts are taking far to long to get me a court date, so I suppose those things don't help.

Yeah OK. We've totally dismantled the shower stall in 2 days. I've got everything to rebuild it already. That will start on Friday. Also gonna put new tiles around the tub. It's gonna be done in stages, as I can afford it. Next will be new floor tiles in the rest of it, a new vanity and new pedestal.

It'll be good to have a proper screen instead of that damn shower curtain, that's for sure.

wilso, that sounds very exciting (albeit tiring). Will you post a pic of final project? I'm all kinds of interested!!!

Wish I had some before pics. The surface of the tiles in the shower were stuffed, which is why soap scum was sticking to it like sh!t to a blanket. I"m hoping the new one will be easier to clean.
I'm very thankful for these shopping centre size hardware stores we've got now. $750 and one hour and all the shopping was done. The new screen, the tiles, the grout, the taps, everything in one handy location.

Montana--

Not only do you have old troubles in a new incarnation, we're only halfway through a messy, dark winter. Hold your dominion.

Montana, sometimes those feelings come out of nowhere. I just get out of the house, take a walk, maybe go to the mall, even though I don't feel like it. Once I'm out and about I feel much better.

That's hard work Wilso, but the finished product makes it seem all worth while. I have a walk up attic and this past summer my brother and I put in new insulation and added drywall. I'm glad it's finished...no more construction for me...at least not yet.

It is hard work. Especially in the middle of a hot, overcast and humid Australian summer day.

Yeah, as Noddy says, I can imagine there is an element of cabin fever. Starts to set in about now for me.

Yeah, it is cabin fever time....I painted two coats on my living room wall last night...and I worked all day and have a horrid cold. I spent Sunday ight wondering why my house wasnt much cleaner than it is considering Ive been in it so much (which is probably the reason) and on my way to getting things cleaned out and all that...its that nail biting time of year..for certain.

Montana--combined with your court issues the cabin fever is enough to make a person crazy-I can understand...I say cleanout the cabinets, start your spring cleaning--anything you can do to keep yourself busy...and get yourself tired as well....good sleep helps.

We have a chinook blowing through town, apparently wind will make a person restless. It certainly brought out the owlies this morning.
