I think you are all right. Between everything on my mind and the cabin fever, I think it all just caught up with me. I don't think I've ever had anxiety like this though. I am actually a bit shaky as well, which is something I'm not use too. I curled up with a good book I'm reading this morning for a few hours and getting lost in the story did help some.

Thank you all for your thoughtful responses.

Aw, sorry you're having a tough time, Montana. Is exercise an option? That's the best cabin-fever buster I know of.

I had a few nights in a row of waking up and being kept awake by anxieties. (A lot going on, hubby's in the midst of job search, etc.) That's unusual for me, did some zooming around the house (wanted to go to the gym but sozlet's sick and can't leave her in the childcare area), that helped. Just, like, going up and down the stairs more than necessary, playing chase with sozlet (your son may be too old for that now Wink ), that kind of thing.

Montana, my dear,

I'm sorry you're having a tough time. I hope things get better for you, quickly! Walking DOES help (if it's not too cold for you!). And also gets rid of pent up energy & makes you feel more relaxed. It works for me! Very Happy

Take care,
Olga

Curling up with a good book works for me sometimes as well, and wouldnt you know Ive recently done just that....so, instead of going into the hyper over drive for 24/7 and feeling paniky/not sleeping...its seems to be equalled out.
I hope the book helped you today!

I'm guessing that on top of the cabin fever and your personal loose ends is a certain amount of internal outrage at being a Pawn of Fate right now.

You're waiting for the court system to schedule the rest of your life--and you have no control over the court system.

Maddening. Hang on to the good books and consider getting out and about and starting early spring cleaning and all of the other home grown therapies that have saved women's sanity through the ages.

Hold your dominion.

Very good advice here, Montana. And if all else fails,
you can always drink!

I just woke up and I'm feeling much better today. I don't know why I felt so overwhelmed yesterday, but I'm glad it's over.

I do have a treadmill and I'll get on there next time I feel this way to see if it won't help.

Roger
I do tend to start getting cabin fever at this time of the year, but this time it's more than that.

Olga
There's snow everywhere outside and it's too cold out there for this gal. I do have a treadmill which I'll keep in mind next time around.

Quinn
I was very surprised that reading my book has helped quite a bit. I would imagine it's because it completely took my mind away from everything else :-)

I think you're right about the rage. I am filled with this anger that I keep bottled up inside and I think it's having it's way with me. I started a painting project in my bedroom and I think it's a good time to get back to it.

Eva
LOL! Normally, that wouldn't be a bad idea, but in this case, I don't think it's a good idea. Rage and alcohol just don't mix well with me ;-)

Thank you all for your wonderful advice and for taking the time to care :-D

(((((Hugs for everyone)))))
