Couldn't take the heat in your other thread where your contention that there'd been no warming in the last 15 years was pretty decisively disproved, so you had to start another one, eh, gunga? Equally stupid one, I see. The hottest years on record are 2005 and 2010. The trend in temps over the last hundred years is up. It has been up the last 15 years as well, not flatline. Check any NASA/NOAA records they'll agree: UP. They put us on the moon. What have you done lately, gunga? Oh, yeah, right, aren't you one of those guys who deny we ever landed on the moon?
Incidentally, the point is not whether CO2 is needed for plant growth. The point is whether increased CO2 raises temperatures. Yes, it does. That was proved a century ago.

Nobody takes your bullshit seriously around here, Gunga. Nobody.
Cycloptichorn
Here's another CO2-and-plants factoid for you, gunga: the plant that grows the fastest when CO2 goes up is ragweed. Ever had hay fever, gunga? Don't worry, you will.
@Cycloptichorn,
Sounds like the fools at npr are unaware that the world is a bit larger than the United States. Temperatures in Europe this winter were as cold or colder than you'd want and people were dying on account of it. That is, they were dying because they'd spent the last dozen years building windmills and other PC **** which could not keep them warm in the winter instead of reactors which could have.
@gungasnake,
the cyclic nature of heating and cooling in response to axial wobbles, sunspot activity does not support that the planet is CXXOOLING. It IS warming and Oxygen isotopes incorporating into deep sea sediments today, support that. Weve gone through a"perturbation that may last a few decades" bt theres no trend. You are falling into the same error as the climatologists in the 1970's that said the [planet was IMMEDIATELY heading for an Ice Age. Weve had about 4 of these perturbation in the lasy 100 years or so.
@gungasnake,
I realize that these trends are reported in Celsius (that damn communist metric system) but even including the Northern European cold snap this winter there seems to be a global warming trend--at least as reported by the Enviriwhacks at
National Aeronautics and Space Administration
Goddard Institute for Space Studies.
