Hi! I'm doing a project on Humanitarians and I need an interview for it.
Can someone answer my questions and leave your email, if I have further questions. I only have today and tomorrow to do this. So please answer as soon as possible. Thanks!

- What is your first and last name? (I need it so I can tell my class who you are. Although I will only use your last name)

- What organization do you work for? Peace Corp/American Red Cross/Doctors Without Borders etc

- What did you study in college to get this job? Or did you just want to volunteer?

- What degrees do you have?

- What skills and knowledge did you need to achieve your current position?

- How did you help people?

- What is the most memorable moment you had being a humanitarian?

- What part of the world did you like helping the most?

- How many languages did you learn working as a Humanitarian?

- What are your top experiences that changed you the most? (mentally/emotionally)?

- Is it a safe job?

- Why did you want to be a Humanitarian?

- Wast it worth it?

- Did experiences change your thoughts on the world and different culture?

- What position do you have right now? Do you work out in the field or on the inside organizing?

- What is the scariest thing you have encountered?

For now these are all the questions I have. Please remember to leave your email so I can contact you!

Also please leave your first and last name

Thank you very much! Gracias! Merci!

@selarome,
Surely the only person who could answer those questions is you.

@msolga,
No. I can't. I need info from people who already are humanitarians.

@selarome,
If you can't answer them from your own experience, knowledge & the beliefs you hold, then clearly you are not suitable for the position.

No one else can answer such questions for you.

@msolga,
First of all I need this for a project as an INTERVIEW. I need the opinions of others.

Besides I'm not old enough to graduate from high school yet. This a class assignment.

@selarome,
A class assignment, then?

Perhaps you could tell us your thinking so far?

Then others might respond.

We are not going to do your homework for you, without any input on your part.

@msolga,
I have the work done. Everything is complete and I've done my research. Part of the requirements on the project is an interview from someone who already is or experienced being a Humanitarian.

You don't need my opinion. I need the opinion of OTHERS who already hold the position.

Thanks for answering.

@selarome,
So what can you tell us that you've learned from the work you have done so far?

That might help.

@msolga,
Hold on. Let me ask you this. Are you working as a Humanitarian? If not it's just a waste of my time. I need people to answer my questions from what they have experienced.

Why would it be important? I need OPINIONS on your experiences in working as an aid worker.

I don't understand how the word 'interview' is so complex to comprehend.

Again my opinion is not needed. What I am asking is straight forward.

It's not meant as an insult or anything. I've just been working very hard trying to contact Humanitarians to interview.

@selarome,
I repeat ...
Tell us about the findings of your research so far ....

THEN others might contribute.

I think the idea is that you seek out some real people in your local community & ask them those questions.

Anyone
online can say anything & you have no way of verifying whether their comments as authentic or not.

Could I ask what level of education you are at?

@msolga,
One: You haven't answered my question: Are you an Aid Worker?

Two: Again what I have researched is not part of the interview. My opinion doesn't matter in my interview. I repeat, it does not. I will orally explain my opinion and findings after the interview is presented.

Three: If it helps you understand what I am asking. Fine.

I won't go into detail. It's a short power point.

- Harsh environment
- Takes year to achieve high position
- Travel to places where violence, disease, war is common
- Bachelors and Masters degrees
- Specialization
- Multilingual
- Experience working
- under pressure
- Managing/teaching other/new programs
- Little pay
- Most organizations require you to pay housing/food for yourself

These are a few points.

And if you are asking my this so I answer my own question. NO. I need OPINIONS AND THOUGHTS FROM THOSE WHO HOLD THE POSITION.

(No, it's not screaming. If you can't tell I'm new here and figuring things out)

@selarome,
What high school or college endorses the legitimacy of online interviews from unknown sources as part of their students' course work?

Where are you studying & at what level?

It would help to know.

Yes, you are right. I've been trying to contact people from my community, but unfortunately no one has answered. I've sent email etc and nothing

@selarome,
Then you need to talk to your teacher about your difficulty in finding reliable sources for your information.

In my experience (as a teacher) teachers generally do not create impossible-to -respond -to assignments for students, at any level.

@msolga,
I might have to do that. But meanwhile, since I still have time I could try local churches. But thanks for your input.

Sorry I was a little frustrated in the beginning.

Although I didn't get many answers. I think you've given me sources to do so.
Thanks! Good night.

You absolutely need to do that!

I find it really hard to believe that your teacher has set you an interviewing assignment for which their are no recognizable local interviewees available!

In which country are you a student?
