No. Baseball, NFL and Aussie rules football are all games somebody started on a piece of paper rather than things that evolved like proper football and cricket which are both perfect.

Spade's basic rule is ideal for what I have had in mind all along for Trivia. The "use last letters" game is pretty good too as long as the poster tries to bear in mind the problem being set for the next player. Scope is the main principle and XYand Z reduce scope.

I disqualified "slanted". Not "supsup". I let that go this time despite the lack of discipline it demonstrates.

trying.

Just wait until City have stuffed the Saints. Didn't I tell you ages ago that newcomers to the PL are usually given a toss into the deep end to begin their campaign with.

shoots or Newton. I think. See how easy going I am.

@spendius,
Reading and West Ham got reasonable enough draws.

The good thing about todays match is, especially after the 5-0 drubbings yesterday, that everyone expects us to get hammered. So anything better than losing 3-0 will be a positive.

Staying up is the aim, and Man City away is not a fixture you want at the end of the season.

@izzythepush,
Good game. Well played izzy. Bit better than the Olympics eh. Here's a game that doesn't "imagine there are no countries". There are none in PL.

shoots or newton.

@spendius,
I'm very pleasantly surprised, but I knew Rickie Lambert was pretty special, he's just not been tried out in the Premiership. We did dominate the Championship for most of the season as well. The only down side is the rest won't underestimate us like City did.
