PS--We were shown on TV America's lost luggage centre. All the unclaimed luggage, after a certain period of grace, is taken to one depot. There it is sorted and the mentionables put up for sale. I guess the bulk of it is inbound from two weeks in the sunshine. And somewhat unsavoury in the handling. Not the sort of task for the ladies who write in the papers or appear on TV I shouldn't have thought.
It's all piled up.
