My favorite Hoyt Axton ditty:

You get your knife
An' i'll get my gun
Come on Buddy
Let's have some fun
'Cause i'm a jealous man
And i'd die for love . . .
If you don't wanna meet me
In the alley tonight
You better stay away
From my young, sweet wife . . .

Jeremiah Was a Bud Frog..." Parody by C.R. Linsey

Jeremiah was a Bud frog
He was drunk all the time
He never drank hard liquor but loved alcohol
And a Bud-Light was just fine
And he always had some Bud on his mind
Drinkin'...

Joy to the world
Bud beats all the girls now
Joy to the bottles and the silver cans
Bud frog's what I am

You know Bud's still the king of the world
Best beer ever made
Best I've ever tasted, I'm so wasted, at the bar
I can't even see straight
Drink it now...

Joy to the world
Bud beats all the girls now
Joy to the bottles and the silver cans
Bud frog's what I am

You know I love the bubbles
Love to have my fun
I'm a Bud-Light drinker and a real slow thinker
Just a drunkin' son-of-a-gun
I'm just a drunkin' son-of-a-gun

Joy to the world
Bud beats all the girls now
Joy to the bottles and the silver cans
Bud frog's what I am

Joy to the world
Bud beats all the girls now
Joy to the bottles and the silver cans
Bud frog's what I am

Joy to the world
Bud beats all the girls now
Joy to the bottles and the silver cans
Bud frog's what I am

(fading)

Joy to the world
Bud beats all the girls...

Joy To The World
( Three Dog Night )

Jeremiah was a bullfrog
Was a good friend of mine
I never understood a single word he said
But I helped him drink his wine
And he always had some mighty fine wine

Singin'
Joy to the world
All the boys and girls, now
Joy to the fishes in the deep blue sea
Joy to you and me

If I were the king of the world
Tell you what I'd do
I'd throw away the cars and the bars and the wars
And make sweet love to you
Said, make sweet love to you

Joy to the world
All the boys and girls
Joy to the fishes in the deep blue sea
Joy to you and me

[break]

You know I love the ladies
I love to have my fun
I'm a high life flyer and a rainbow rider
A straight shootin' son-of-a-gun
I said, a straight shootin' son-of-a-gun

Singin'
Joy to the world
All the boys and girls now
Joy to the fishes in the deep blue sea
Joy to you and me

Joy to the world
All the boys and girls
Joy to the world
Joy to you and me

Joy to the world
All the boys and girls
Joy to the fishes in the deep blue sea
Joy to you and me

Joy to the world
All the boys and girls
Joy to the fishes in the deep blue sea
Joy to you and me

The Blue Tango was written by Leroy Anderson and recorded in 1951. Lyrics were added in 1952 by Mitchell Parish. There is a Hank Snow song called "Blue Tango" but it's not the same tune.

Rich is the word that best both describes Chardonnay and explains its popularity, you can tell the difference between it an vinegar by reading the label. Laughing

Yes they make wine that actually comes in bottles not boxes and the bottles have corks not screw-off tops.

I don't know know how much it is though, I only drink it when we go over to my rich brother's house on the hill.

The Cuervo Gold, the fine Colombian; make tonight a wonderful thing - say it again........

Quote:
Way back when in Sixty seven
I was the dandy of Gamma Chi
Sweet things from Boston so young and willing
Moved down to Scarsdale where the hell am I

Hey Nineteen
No we can't dance together
No we can't talk at all
Please take me along when you slide on down

Hey Nineteen that's 'Retha Franklin
She don't remember the Queen of Soul
It's hard times befallen the sole survivors
She thinks I'm crazy I'm just growing old

Hey Nineteen
No we got nothin' in common
No we can't talk at all
Please take me along when you slide on down

(ad libbed lines)
nice, sure looks good,
hm hm hmm, skate a little lower now

The Cuervo Gold
The fine Colombian
Make tonight a wonderful thing
[say it again]

The Cuervo Gold
The fine Colombian
Make tonight a wonderful thing

The Cuervo Gold
The fine Colombian
Make tonight a wonderful thing

We can't dance together
No we can't talk at all.
