They are one Aquarius/Let the Sun Shine In are one song but there is a quasi-lengthy instrumental in the middle there so it seems like two seperate songs.

When the moon is in the Seventh House
And Jupiter aligns with Mars
Then peace will guide the planets
And love will steer the stars
This is the dawning of the age of Aquarius
Age of Aquarius
Aquarius!
Aquarius!

Harmony and understanding
Sympathy and trust abounding
No more falsehoods or derisions
Golden living dreams of visions
Mystic crystal revelation
And the mind's true liberation
Aquarius!
Aquarius!

When the moon is in the Seventh House
And Jupiter aligns with Mars
Then peace will guide the planets
And love will steer the stars
This is the dawning of the age of Aquarius
Age of Aquarius
Aquarius!
Aquarius!
Aquarius!
Aquarius!

<instrumental and tempo shift>

Let the sunshine, let the sunshine in, the sunshine in
Let the sunshine, let the sunshine in, the sunshine in
Let the sunshine, let the sunshine in, the sunshine in

<continue to end with concurrent scat>

Oh, let it shine, c'mon
Now everybody just sing along
Let the sun shine in
Open up your heart and let it shine on in
When you are lonely, let it shine on
Got to open up your heart and let it shine on in
And when you feel like you've been mistreated
And your friends turn away
Just open your heart, and shine it on in

Personal note:
1972
While racing to the hospital, trying to beat the stork to the birth of my son Ben, (he was supposed to be born July 4th and it was the 15th of April) my heart was literally pounding in fear, fear that we'd lose the baby, fear that my wife might die, fear, cold, wet, dark fear, I was gripping the VW's steering wheel and begging the universe for some green lights when Radio KRMG Tulsa began to play the Age of Aquarius/Let the Sun Shine.....'when the moon is in the seventh house'........Paula, with a soaked towel around her middle, began to hum and I began to sing. By the time we turned off 15th Street and sped up Utica they were letting in the sunshine and I was singing my head off. And I just knew everything was going to be all right. And so it was.... Ben arrived early... all 2lbs 11oz.of him....

I can't think about that song without crying.

oh. and Ben's now the drummer for JIBE, touring out of Dallas.

Ah, that was dear, Joe.

Hey, fishin', I thought that you couldn't sing.

Craven, you're supposed to go to that party as Rudolph Valentino--my God, man. I can just see you in a gaucho costume doing the tango.

Now here's a question for you:

Who wrote The Blue Tango?

Hey, Seal's got a lotta time on his hands, let him learn flamenco guitar. Cool

Joy to the World was penned by Hoyt Axton with many bands covering the song, most popular was the Three Dog Night version.

Seal, that made me laugh out loud. Please believe me. There are no plastic pink flamingos in my yard, and the white ibises all have a tin ear.

With hedge hogs as the bollocks. Heh heh!

Save your money on the flowers
What's yours is mine is ours
And I can grow my own

Diamond rings and cars are easy
And I think they're kinda cheesy
Like summering in Rome
I'm a little jaded
If you wanna know what gets me
You ain't got to get so complicated,all I want's a

Sprinkler on the garden hose and
Aim it at the patio
Iced tea,you and me
Pink flamingo (kind of love)
Let the clothesline be our fortress
Gas up the tiki torches
Sun up,sun down,big dreams,small town
Pink flamingo kind of love

Life is great without the clutter
Pass the apple butter
I can't believe this heat

Ain't it simple,ain't it clever
How good we go together
Like june bugs on a string
If our yard was an ocean
And we were sitting' in our lawn chairs
I wouldn't feel any more emotion
Then I do now,all I want's a

Sprinkler on the garden hose and
Aim it at the patio
Iced tea,you and me
Pink flamingo (kind of love)
Let the clothesline be our fortress
Gas up the tiki torches
Sun up,sun down,big dreams,small town
Pink flamingo kind of love

If the key to love and happiness is simplify
Then all we need to get us by,is a

Sprinkler on the garden hose and
Aim it at the patio
Iced tea,you and me
Pink flamingo (kind of love)
Let the clothesline be our fortress
Gas up the tiki torches
Sun up,sun down,big dreams,small town
Pink flamingo kind of love

Pink flamingo kind of love
Pink flamingo kind of love

Never heard this song in my life.

I've got pix of some of the SealPoet clans pink flamingos.
Very pink, they are.

Pretty Flamingo. Loved that song. Posting the lyrics to that was one of my first Abuzz entries.

Yikes. Jeremiah was a Bullfrog. I got into a bit of trouble with that song. Wrote a couple of lines from it into the middle of a history (or geography?) test in Grade 7 - I was testing the teacher Rolling Eyes She spotted it.

Crabs. and the crabs run crazy on the sands of Santo Domingo .... (Phil Ochs) ... I used to drive a beau mad when I insisted on singing that at inappropriate (in his opinion) moments.
