@Oldmike,
Maybe heaven works on the same elimination theory of the Ivy League schools. They produce competitive and graduates because they only accept competitive and smart freshmen. Maybe if you don't fit in with the heavenly scheme, it becomes a non-issue because you don't get there.

@Oldmike,
But God gives us as Humans with our own mind and soul to do our own free will, When God accepts us into Heaven it is because he knows the heart and instantly e become knowledgeable that we are one with the universe and he gives us a free gift of knowledge and transforms us into beings of light that understand the whole universe.

This is the same heaven where there was a civil war among the angels?

Second, the people who are so loud in claiming they are going to end up in heaven are the same type of people that would make any place into a hell.

Do our own free will? Yeah but if we don't do what he wants we are tortured for eternity? Not very free now is it? You can't give someone something and then expect them to do something with it. It is asinine and why people think this is in some way remarkable boggles me.

Nonsense. Where does the energy come from the fuel this process? There is just an infinite abundance of energy to make that happen for eternity? Seriously? Oh wait energy isn't needed right? Because all that will happen in a place where there is no time or need for energy. God just made this universe the way it is, for the hell of it and heaven is completely different and works on a completely different principle. You can do things without needing time to do them and you can do things without needing to consume energy to do them.

Are you sure you are not just delusional?

@Krumple,
I think mismi has a right to her own beliefs, opinions as much as you do.

The funny thing is, you can not really argue, or justify until you are there, if you are there, you don't know.

So how can she be wrong and you right?

@Oldmike,
I don't believe he would, will or intends to.

If there is a God, then this "Earth" that we walk our mission is to learn from our mistakes and how many do we make? The Bible I believe has all these "thou shall nots", well I stole as a kid and I suspect many did.. Did I learn? Eventually..

I don't think anyone is perfect.

I believe we all make mistakes "until" one day, we don't make "that" mistake again and so it continues. He doesn't change people, he can't.. His goal if it be true would be, like I said, to grow, learn... If you believe in re-incarnation and I do, at least that there are such things as the un-explained, then you would have to die several times and come back if you were to finally learn any lessons as we all do wrong all the time.

I guess we should treat every delusional idea the same then right?

The thing you neglect is, what I am saying, reality supports it. What she is saying, reality doesn't support it. There is a difference here. I have absolutely no problem with her making the claim, if there was something substantial to base it on, but there is nothing. It is empty wishful thinking and to better society we need give up these childish ideas because they hold society back.

People have to change to get into heaven but that is before the fleshly body dies. What is misunderstood is that heaven and hell are after your in the ground. This is not the case.To know the Lord you must seek His words.

Psalms;
25:12 When a man fears the Lord, He will teach him the way he should choose. He will abide in prosperity, and his descendants shall inherit the land. The friendship of the Lord is with those who fear him, and he makes his covenant known to them.

34:15The Lord has eyes for the just, and ears for there cry. When the just cry out, the Lord hears them, and rescues them from all distress.

34:22 The Lord redeems the life of his servants; none of those who take refuge in him incurs guilt.

37:11The meek shall inherit the land, and delight themselves in abundant peace.

98:2 The Lord has made known his salvation; he has revealed his justice in the sight of all the nations. He has remembered his kindness and faithfulness to the house of Israel. All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

106:3 Blessed are those who observe what is right, who do always what is just.

111:10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; all those who practice it possess virtue. His praise endures forever.

119:1 Blessed are those whose way is blameless, who walk in the law of the Lord. Blessed are those who keep his decrees, who seek him with their whole heart, who do no wrong, but walk in his ways.

128:1 Happy is everyone who fears the Lord, who walks in his ways. You shall eat the fruit of the labor of your hands; you shall be happy, and it shall go well with you.

119:55 I remember your name in the night, O Lord, and keep your law.

119:77 Let your mercy come to me, that I may live; for your law is my delight.

119:142 Your righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and your law is the truth

119:174 I long for your salvation, O Lord, and your law is my joy.

145:13 The Lord is faithful in all his words, and holy in all his works.

145:17 The Lord is just in all his ways, and holy in all his works. The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.

BK of JN;
No one has gone up to heaven except the one who has come down from heaven, the Son of Man.

I came down from heaven to do the will of the Lord who sent me. Anyone who chooses to do His will shall know about this teaching, namely, whether it comes from God or I am merely speaking on my own.

"Truly, I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God without being born from above."
"Truly, no one can enter the kingdom of God without being born of water and Spirit. Flesh makes flesh, spirit makes spirit. Do not be surprised that I tell you, you must all be born from above.
The wind blows where it wills, and you can hear the sound it makes, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes; so it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.

I am the resurrection and the life; anyone who believes in me, even though he died, he will come to life, and everyone who lives and believes in me will never die.

I am the door (to heaven). Anyone who enters by me will be saved.

@Oldmike,
Exactly right! It seems "free will" goes out the window, once those "sinless" humans gets to "heaven." Miracles over miracles never ceases in god's world.

@Philis,
Why didn't god do that from the very beginning with Adam and Eve? You pose a contradiction in your "free gift."

@farmerman,
If god keeps changing the rules on what a sin is and is not, maybe fornication will be allowed for a short period to satisfy the masses. Ooooh, I wonder if sex will be "allowed." Will the newborn baby be sinless too?

Maybe, being the "children of god" has a similar meaning as in "virgin mary."
