His last post is dated December the 18th of last year, of course, at 12:08 a.m. I have no idea if he was banned or not. Robert seems to be strongly opposed to banning anyone whose comments are controversial (a position with which I agree); so, somehow I don't believe he was banned. However, the very last sentence in his post (which I've copied and pasted below) seems to indicate that he might have just gotten tired of posting here, which means that he would have quit of his own accord. Notice he said he wanted to put distance between him and jcboy. Perhaps I'm reading too much into it. Who knows? Obviously, I hope nothing bad happened to him. I assume the majority of the members won't miss him; but there are some who definitely will -- izzythepush, in particular. Not to mention yours truly.
