Hi I need to know how to convert these:

Convert 2 and 7/8lb to ounces.

Convert 3 and 1/2 gal to pints

A board 6 and 2/3 ft long is cut into 5 equal pieces. How long is each piece?
any help will be appreciated.

Multiply 2 by the number of ounces to the pound and set that number aside.

Then do this equation:

7/8 = X/number of ounces to the pound

then add teh result of the equation to the first number you had.

Same as above.

Multiply 6 by the number of inches in a foot.

Do this equation:

2/3 = X/inches in a foot

Add the two results together and divide by 5.
