Those are the definitions I am using- what is WRONG with you?

Because you're the one who is now trying to obscure the profanity use of "puffy".
puffy=profanity=f****ing

So, will your Puffy character screw around a lot?

"Puffy" isn't gender-specific

Are you quite sure? Look at your own examples...
Quote:
"Woah! Look at that Puffy! She's so cool!"

"Oh jen, you're so cool, i think i'll call you Puffy from now on...cause you're just that cool."

Jen is short for Jennifer. Know many guys named Jennifer?

Is your Puffy character transgendered?

It's pretty lame when an alleged black man has to look up black slang on the urban dictionary.

Don't associate with too many black people, do you Jason?

Spend most of your time thinking about animals.....hmm....nice furry, sexy animals...animals who will never tell your dark secrets...

@firefly,
Look at the previous post.

No I don't normally use ANY slang- I look it up.

"Someone" or "person" isn't gender-specific.

@JGoldman10,
and those all have more down votes than up - so they are NOT black slang for puffy

~~~
I understand that you want to use the word/name and you don't like the real connotations.
Just move on.
A publisher will eventually tell you what is acceptable.
Boy is that an appealing image to give to children--someone who looks swollen all over? Laughing
Is this a horror comic you are doing, Jason?
@ehBeth,
I do not care if terms get thumbs down.
SEAN COMBS called himself "Puffy" - I GAVE what definitions I AM USING that were ON THAT SITE:
noun=an extremely cool person.
nickname=a nickname for someone that demonstrates puff-like qualities (i.e: coolness, awesomeness, enthusiam)
GET OVER IT.
My mother asked me what "diva" means - there are dozens of definitions with negative connotations- she was interested in the definitions that were positive. I gave them to her.
What I am doing is no different.
STOP TRYING TO DICTATE TO ME WHAT TERMS TO USE.
THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE DEFINITIONS I AM USING.
Who do you think spends the most time in gyms--gay men.
My gay cousin was a professional muscle-builder. His photo used to be in all the comics as the "after" picture of the guy who used to be the 97 pound weakling. He made a living posing for gay magazines. He had a gorgeous body.
there is if you think people will understand what image you're trying to put across with your characters
you're choosing definitions that the majority of people DISAGREE with
look - if you ever get as far as publishing, the publisher and their editors will tell you what words/names you can and can't use
~~~

You have asked for opinions and information. People have been very nice and given you information and opinions. You continuously disagree with the opinions AND the information you're given.

Why are you bothering to ask? you're not going to listen.

In the same way that you don't listen to us - I'm not going to listen to you when you try to tell me what to do or how to post.

I will in future comment more on your un-Christianlike responses to others. It is mortifying that you present yourself as a Christian, and behave the way you do.

Neither you nor your mom seem to get out much, do you?

Not exactly in touch with how people talk, or dress, or sound, are you? Particularly black people.

If any black kids ever read your comic, they will laugh themselves silly. Laughing
