@izzythepush,
If you're doing it deliberately, bravo, but everytime you try to make your characters appear less gay you do the exact opposite. I think it's brilliant that you refuse to accept that Poofy is at all gay. If you carry on like this you may well end up with a kitsch masterpiece. There's a gay club down the road, I'm going to print off some of your drawings and ask if they'll be interested in putting them up. They should match the decor perfectly.

Do people often get sued for putting pictures up over there? I know you're a much more litigious society, but aren't you afraid you'll be laughed out of court? You have called him Poofy after all.

Cassell's Dictionary of Slang defines "mandingo" as:

mandingo n. (1960s+) (US Black) a tough, physically strong, virile, African-American man.


Nothing in there having to do with sex or a man's junk.

They like that sort of thing, it's really kitsch, just gay enough, any more obvious and it just wouldn't work. I'll try and get you a shot of it with a load of Dorothy's friends.
