Anyway, it is good idea to make screenshots of webpages or to create your own
caches of pages. Fortunately for me, I had print-outs of some old web pages I kept up with. Sometimes searching for old pages can be a drag if you don't recall what the URL was when you found your info online.
There ought to be more than one source were you can retrieve copies of web pages besides archive.org.
However I don't know how to create cache files. I take note of URLS and archive copies of pages by making screenshots and saving them to my PC.
