@Setanta,
I had that happen with ff too.
In order to see all the game screen, I had to click on a word in the game and just hit TAB until my cursor went down to the bottom. ONLY then could I see it.
I still get that sometimes but ( and I dont know if this fixed it or not..) after I went through and selected which pop ups to allow on games, I have not had that problem as much since then..
Yes it still happens.... but when it does, I close/reopen and voila . Screen normal.

Thanks everyone.

Jespah, it's kind of hilarious reading your post. When FB freezes up on me, i often get the little pop-up window saying that Windows is looking for a solution to the problem. Then Windows shuts down the IE window.

Mah pain amuses you? {runs into a corner and sobs while muttering something unintelligible about Windows}

@shewolfnm,
I didn't understand that--specifically, what you mean by "click on a word in the game." I'd sure like to know how to make it work with FF, because IE sucks.

Here are a few things to check and eliminate as being the problem.

Go to the Control Panel (or Windows Vista equivalent) and click on the Flash icon and then the Java icon. Use the utility that pops up to check for updates of each of those programs. There have been many of them over the last few months.

Also, if you're using Firefox, click on Tools in the menu bar at the top, then click Add-ons to open the Add-on manager. Click on Plug-ins option and then at the top of the screen there is either an icon that looks like a gear or a textual link. Whichever it is, click on the one to check for updates for your plug-ins. If the list comes up with plug-ins needing to be updated, do so. The most common and frequent plug-in needing updating is the Adobe Shockwave Flash utility.

All of these utilities are used by Facebook and/or the games on Facebook and have caused me performance troubles in the recent past.

@Butrflynet,
We keep up with the updates for Flash and Java. I'll check out your suggestion about FF plug-ins. Thanks.
