It's a really nice toilet, where ya don't have to freeze your butt off in winter.
Also known as a grand toilet.

Beats a flush every time.

That really looks like a royal flush to me, phoenix!

And Gustav, we have people taking care of that, ok? And they're paid even less than I am.

While these things were around when I was born, I'm grateful for indoor plumbing and the invention of plastic. Smile

As for what I now take for granted that I didn't when I was a kid...VCR, like Phoenix32890 the cordless phone, microwave (although I think we were one of the first in our area to get one...I wonder how badly it leaked?), I'd say computer except I don't take it for granted -- yet...beltless feminine hygiene products, the remote control (for the VCR, t.v. and stereo), and...that's all I can think of at the moment.

I did take the water softner for granted....until a couple of months ago when it broke down.

Gee, I don't have half the stuff from your last two posts Montana. Oddly though, I don't feel deprived. Smile

I don't have an electric toothbrush, water pick, remote to turn my car on from inside the house, garbage disposel, or trash compactor either. I'm just kind of naming stuff now that they didn't have when i was a kid. I don't feel deprived either ;-)

Montana, sounds like you have too much stuff. I thought you were more of a pioneer woman, almost Luddite by nature.

As the Liberty lads o'er the sea
Bought their freedom, and cheaply, with blood,
So we, boys, we
Will die fighting, or live free,
And down with all kings but King Ludd!

I'm living very comfortably over here, but I do enjoy the simple things in life, so I'd be content without a lot of the stuff I have.

Gus
I'm just a pioneer woman with a lot of stuff ;-) Would it make you feel better if I told you that my lawn tractor was one of my favorite things?
