I am trying to locate the estate of William Rose Benet (to ask for permission to quote from a poem.) Does anyone know who the literary executor now is?
Have you asked his publisher?
I believe you will find some of his poems are in the public domain already - do you know the date of the poem?
Here is Amazon's note of the publisher of one of his books of poetry: Moons of Grandeur (ASIN 0918377706)
Publisher: Russell Pr; (June 1985)
and another: The First person Singular. (ASIN: 0403008603)
Publisher: Scholarly Press;
He is wonderful, no?

Thanks for suggestions re William Rose Benet. I've managed to contact his son (via Yale Library).
He is wonderful. I contacted Yale, which holds his papers, and thru them contacted his son yesterday. Many thanks for yr suggestions.
