I want to buy a laptop, should I prefer brand or price?
@Tofayel,
Depends. Why and what are you buying a computer for? PC games? Work? Photoshop and photo/video editing? Writing? Just internet and email?
@Tofayel,
I think you should rely on customer feedback. There are some brands that are historically more reliable, but 4.5 eggs on NewEgg.com goes a long way for me.
@engineer,
Hey Engineer, I haven't taken the time to read through the site to find out for myself, but wanted to ask...is that new egg site what used to be known as egghead?
@Butrflynet,
Yep. That's the site. Postbankruptcy name change I think.
@tsarstepan,
That used to be a great company. I remember purchasing from them for the title company's accounting software packages way back in the 80s and 90s. Hope their reputation and quality followed them into their rebirth. Engineer referred me to them a few times before for some games. I'll have to take a more thorough look at them next time I'm on their site.
There are lots of brands to purchase a laptop. Lenovo, Dell, Compaq, Viao and HCL. These are famous brands in laptops. Core i3 processor is preferable for all of your application.
