I am looking into starting nursing school next fall. Does anyone have any informatin to offer about different nursing programs? I'm not sure what the difference is between all the nursing degrees and could use a startingpoint to start my research.

Well you need to start with local colleges. And stay away from RUE Education, College Network and all other online self-study programs.

Definitely stick to conventional colleges. Look for strong and competitive BSN programs. Preferably w/o a waiting list, the one I'm attending accepts fresh applications every year and admits based on GPA it's competitive but worth it. If you to lower than a BSN it is my understanding that you will be returning to obtain it very quickly. My school recently dropped it's LPN program. Good luck.
