Xu Beihong, known as the founder of Modern Art education in China, advocated the development of "Traditional Chinese painting", based on the Chinese modern realism art, and put forward the "Chinese painting Improvement theory" under the decadent background of modern painting.

Wu Dakai, a contemporary master of landscape painting. Chinese famous painter of oil painting seem to be better at landscape painting.
Here is one of my favorite Chinese landscape paintings.
