I suspect the question might read "what fraction like only football", this appearing to be a typical Venn diagram question (UK age 11).

Of course. I am bringing my own experience as a former UK (ref "cricket") teacher to bear. The question as stated is unlikely (except as a part question) because it does not require processing of all the information. It is therefore likely that the student has simply missed the word "only" because he is not yet aware of the significance of the specific wording of Venn diagram questions. That indeed is why he may be asking the question in the first place!
