I'm having a problem with Skype, when I make a call no sound will come out of my speakers. My speakers are working. I removed Skype and downloaded it again, I still have the problem, no sound. If I call my home phone it will ring but nothing from the speakers. Any idea on what can be wrong? Thanks!

Is it only this one program that has this issue? Are your speakers working outside of Skype?

Make sure that your devices are properly defined in the Skype options.
Every now and then, Skype resets these for some reason. It has been this culprit that has been the problem every time I've ever had a problem with the audio or microphone while using Skype. Correcting the definitions in the pull-down menus under options should fix it.

I still cant get sound from my speakers! If I call my home number the phone rings but nothing from my speakers!

why i cant use my skype video call ringing on my part but not ringing to the one im calling pls help
