@Forcedtoretire,
I remember talking to my brother, a high ranking soldier, about this.

He said "There's good news and there's bad news. The bad news is that a lot of people will leave the military. The good news is that they were all jerks -- the kind of people we didn't want anyway."

I'm paraphrasing but that's the gist of it.

Good riddance to bad rubbish.

I sure wouldn't want to live in your hateful skin! Why the hell would anyone care if people are gay or not. For a guy who did time in the military, you sure lack courage and balls, obviously, since you left because of such a lame reason! Looks to me like you're a coward, which we certainly don't need in the military and you're just fishing for people to blame for your coward ass!
Gave you a good excuse to quit though didn't it? Wink Nice try, but I'm not buying it. Own up to your own failures and you'll be a happier person for it. Blaming others for your lack of courage won't make your balls any bigger, in fact it has a reverse effect!

@Forcedtoretire,
Oh man, I think you misunderstood, the repeal of don't ask don't tell doesn't mean you have to out yourself, you can stay in the closet long as you want.
