A milkman has only a 5 pint jug and a 3 pint jug ot measure out milk for his custoomers from a mil tank. How canhe measure 1 pint without guessing and wasting any milk?

He fills the 3 pint jug and pours it into the 5 pint jug.
He refills the 3 pint jug and fills the 5 pint jug, using two pints.
What is left if the 3 pint jug equals 1 pint.
