i was wondering which one of these would be the best to go into....i was in a very horrific accident...16 operations and 6 1/2 years gone from my life....i have two years left to get bachelors degree.....and it takes two years to get a nursing degree...so same amount of time whichever way i go...i'm semi-smart....nursing is pretty much a guaranteed job and only have to work 3 days a week.....but i plan on getting as much overtime as possible......in this economy would becoming a nurse be the wiser decision, having job security and great job placement when done with school........i kinda thing nursing woul be better with this economy..........PLEASE GIVE ME OPINIONS
THANX
Yes, become a nurse.
Good pay, and is a profession that has a strong need.
For God's sake though, if you become a nurse, don't be a prima donna. I don't mean toward you patients, but with your employer.
@jakskrilla,
I would agree that nursing is a solid choice, and a good one if you've got the right mindset for it.
Out of curiosity, what was the bachelors degree heading towards?
@jakskrilla,
I’m a nurse practitioner, APRN. I got my associate's and then I went on and got my bachelor's. I choose this profession because I love helping people. Its not easy work by any means, I probably see more patients then the doctors do but I love my job.
@MMarciano,
I’m ready for my examination now.
@jcboy,
doesn't that belong on the Saturday chores thread?
@ehBeth,
hehehe sometimes he does call it a chore
@MMarciano,
(you don't actually get loons down there, do you?)
