@hamilton,
Yes.

Without him there'd be no Judas Priest

There'd be no song by that steak and pork chop wearing lady

Or is this about Judas Iscariot? He was needed so we'd know the dangers of betrayal.

@wayne,
jesus to be crucified and us to be forgiven for torturing gods son to a painful and humiliating death.
is there any other way for jesus to have been captured?

@hamilton,
He could have fallen down a hole. That way instead of making the sign of the cross, priests could pretend to fall down a hole.

@izzythepush,
Or even better, not pretend, and really do it.

No symbolic holes though, like some pissant depression in the carpet.

A real hole, like 23 feet deep, and 9 feet in diameter

@izzythepush,
well jesus was the son of man, so man should do it as well, so why stop at priests?

@chai2,
Indeed, why put an age restriction on it at all?

I may be wrong, but I think that's a reference to Robert Walpole, the man who was, to all intents and purposes, Britain's first prime minister during the reign of George I. George stayed in Germany, and Walpole's term in office was very corrupt and riddled with nepotism, hence 'Bob's Your Uncle.'

Or it's something from the Simpsons.

@hamilton,
Maybe they could've fingerprinted him, of course, if he had no priors then they might need to see a photo I.D. or something.
