I have a little problem here that I can't seem to work out... forgot the rules I guess...
How to figure the volume of:
-(Rectangle shaped) duct, 1.8125x1.25, 16.6875 long,
vs
- Pipe, 1.5625 ID, 16.6857 long.
hmm...

The volume is just the cross-sectional area times the length.
For the rectangular duct volume is height * width * length
The area of a circle is (pi)*r*r
The 'r' is for radius. I am assuming that the "ID" is for "internal diameter" so divide this number by 2 to get the radius.
so the volume of the pipe is (pi)*r*r * length
