Is there a limit on amount of time left on British passport going to Spain

A friend is travelling to Lanzerote for a holiday. She has just six weeks left on her passport. It will be valid for her arrival and departure. Does Spain require that a visitor should have a certain amount of time still left on a passport (as does the USA, I believe
