@tsarstepan,
Neat...

it reminded me of this article -
http://news.beloblog.com/ProJo_Blogs/architecturehereandthere/2011/06/column-oops-exc.html

and the Leon Krier drawing shown in it. (I'm a fan of both Kriers, Leon and Rob)

This for little kids, I know ....
But I really enjoyed it. Smile

@ossobuco,
Oh good!

You never know what you'll find in the Guardian ....
A whole "how to draw ..." series for kids.
And they're publishing kids' work, too.
Nice to see ...

The "bunny" one was delightful, I thought.

@msolga,
I'm into the Guardian more and more since I've become NYTimes deprived (not completely, but I read something like 10% of the articles I used to, given the newish monetary fees past 20 reads.)

@ossobuco,
That must have been a difficult adjustment for you to make, osso. (Living in the US.)

I first read the Guardian years ago, when it was the Manchester Guardian, while visiting friends in England. One of the real bonuses of the internet is being able to access so many great publications from so many different countries. (I'm a bit of a newspaper junkie.)

@msolga,
Once I got into reading news via the internet, the Guardian got on the list, but was just one in the lineup. Well, it still is, but presently near the top, as aside from regular old news, I also like the culture section.

@ossobuco,
Yeah, it took me quite a while to stop having "the Age" home-delivered daily.
One becomes attached to such things, after years & years!
But now I'm reading news from everywhere!
I think possibly one can over-do these things. Smile

@msolga,
I got news: 46 websites. A few of them are magazine sites, but most aren't. Crazywoman doesn't read all every day, but enough that I often forget where I read something.

@msolga,
All of the photos gorgeous, including the one I hated, the deer with buckshot.
The whippets - fabulous photo.

Just look at them, such joy, such joy.

Oh, man, Villa Peet!!
I'm only half way through the slide show, love it. Best link I've clicked on in nearly forever.

edit - ok, finished the slide show. That last home is sublime..
